Job summary
Mend Partners is seeking a reliable Certified HVAC Technician to join our Nashville-area team servicing short-term rental and residential properties. The role requires HVAC certification, on-call rotation, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have HVAC service, diagnostic and repair experience, a valid driver’s license, and basic tools. General maintenance skills and strong communication are also valued in this 24/7 operation.
Qualifications
- HVAC certification is required.
- Experience in HVAC service, diagnostics & repairs.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Basic tools for field work.
- General maintenance/handyman experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, time management & problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Perform HVAC diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs & preventive maintenance.
- Identify system issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Carry out general maintenance and repair tasks as needed.
- Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and fixture installs.
- Communicate updates, photos and notes through our systems.
- Maintain professionalism in guest-occupied homes.
- Participate in rotating after-hours/on-call schedule.
