Pines Village Assisted Living is seeking compassionate and reliable CHHAs to provide exceptional care to our residents across New Jersey. The Care Partner CHHA and CNA roles involve assisting with daily living activities, supporting health monitoring, and delivering respectful, empathetic home health care in patients’ homes.

We offer full-time and part-time schedules on multiple shifts (7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM) with starting pay at $20.00/hour plus a $1.50/hour shift

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CHHA or CNA certification in NJ.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to pass background checks and health screenings.
• Demonstrated ability to assist with activities of daily living.
• Strong communication and basic written literacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Support medication reminders under supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment.
• Document care provided and communicate with the healthcare team.
• Offer emotional support and companionship.
• Follow safety protocols and patient confidentiality rules.

About the Role:

The Care Partner CHHA (Certified Home Health Aide) and (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant plays a vital role in providing compassionate, personalized care to patients in their homes across the United States. This position focuses on assisting individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting independence. The Care Partner CHHA and Certified Nursing Assistant CNA collaborates closely with healthcare professionals to implement care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs. Through attentive observation and communication, the role contributes to monitoring patients' health status and reporting any changes promptly. Ultimately, this position aims to enhance the quality of life for patients by delivering respectful, empathetic, and professional home health care services.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or CNA certification recognized in the State of New Jersey
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background checks and health screenings as required by state regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks associated with patient care.
• Strong communication skills and basic literacy to document care activities accurately.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a Home Health Aide or in a similar caregiving role.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Additional training or certification in specialized care areas such as dementia or palliative care.
• Bilingual abilities to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Provide basic health-related services including monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes to nursing staff.
• Support patients with medication reminders and adherence under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients within their homes.
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control standards, and patient confidentiality regulations.
