Job summary

Senior Helpers Parent Account urgently seeks in-home caregivers in New Jersey to support seniors with compassion and dignity. You will provide companionship, personal care, and participate in the care team to maintain client well-being.

The role requires NJ-certified HHA/CNA credentials, a valid driver’s license or reliable transport, and adherence to safety protocols. Join a leading in-home care provider dedicated to quality care and community impact.

Qualifications

• A genuine desire to assist others and improve their quality of life.
• Compassionate, patient, and understanding of the needs of our clients.
• Certified HHA or CNA in the State of New Jersey (REQUIRED).
• A valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation.
• PPD test (skin test for TB per NJ Law).
• Must complete a background check screening.

Responsibilities

• Delivering exceptional care to our clients.
• Supply personal companionship, remaining actively engaged with each client and their families.
• Assist with personal care activities to include personal hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding and meal preparation.
• Complete all daily tasks in a safe and professional manner (ADLs).
• Collaborate with client’s care team to provide client updates and important health changes.
• Administrative functions such as documentation of completion of tasks and reporting changes in the client’s physical condition, mental capability, or behavior.
