Job summary

Interim HealthCare of South Plainfield is seeking part-time CHHA professionals with NJ certification to provide companion activities, homemaking, personal care, and transportation to appointments in the service area.

The role includes assisting with daily living tasks, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and mobility support. Candidates must pass background and drug screening and have a reliable vehicle to travel between assignments.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Certified Homemaker Home Health Aide Certificate.
• Reliable vehicle
• Able to pass criminal history and drug screening.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide two references of past employers or nursing program instructors (no family or friends).
• Able to constantly travel within geographic area serviced by office from assignment to assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide companion activities, homemaking, personal care, and transportation to appointments.
• Assistance with daily activities such as grocery shopping and meal preparation.
• Assist with exercise, activity and positioning, range of motion, transferring and ambulation.
• Monitor and support personal hygiene and basic care tasks.
• Provide light housekeeping and laundry support.
• Adhere to patient plan of care and assist with transportation to appointments.

Must have NJ CHHA certificationandreliable transportation. Criminal history and background check will be completed upon hire.

CHHAs provide companion activities, homemaking, personal care, transport to appointments, and assistance with daily activities, such asgrocery shopping.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

• New Jersey Certified Homemaker Home Health Aide Certificate
• Reliable vehicle
