Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. seeks a part-time CHHA to support clients with daily living activities in the New Jersey service area. The role emphasizes compassionate companionship, personal care, mobility assistance and adherence to care plans.

Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments, and monitoring vital signs as required. A NJ CHHA certificate and reliable vehicle are essential, with training provided and a supportive team

Qualifications

• Must have NJ CHHA certification.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to pass criminal history and drug screening.
• Provide two references from past employers or nursing instructors (no family or friends).

Responsibilities

• Assistance with exercise, activity and positioning, ROM, transferring, ambulation and devices.
• Personal hygiene, nail and skin care, bathing, shampooing, etc., and positioning.
• Vital signs monitoring as needed.
• Post-stroke and dementia care support.
• Light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation.
• Transportation to appointments and errands.
• Adherence to patient plan of care.

Must have NJ CHHA certificationandreliable transportation. Criminal history and background check will be completed upon hire.

CHHAs provide companion activities, homemaking, personal care, transport to appointments, and assistance with daily activities, such asgrocery shopping.

• light house-keeping, laundry and assistance with meal preparation
• transportationto appointments
• adherence to patient plan of care

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

• New Jersey Certified Homemaker Home Health Aide Certificate
• Reliable vehicle
• Ableto pass criminal history and drug screening
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Provide two references of past employers or nursing program instructors (no family or friends)
• Able to constantly travel within geographic area serviced by office from assignment to assignment.
