Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Part-time CHHA in New Jersey to provide companion activities, homemaking, personal care, and transportation to appointments. This role requires NJ CHHA certification, a reliable vehicle, and the ability to travel within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, homemaking, and personal care.
• Assist with daily activities and transportation to appointments.
• Assist with grocery shopping and light housekeeping.
• Support patient with breathes and positioning as prescribed.
• Travel within geographic area serviced by the office.

Part-time, flexible hours!

Must have NJ CHHA certificationandreliable transportation. Criminal history and background check will be completed upon hire.

CHHAs provide companion activities, homemaking, personal care, transport to appointments, and assistance with daily activities, such asgrocery shopping.

• exercise, activity and positioning, range of motion, transferring, ambulation and assistive devices

• light house-keeping, laundry and assistance with meal preparation
• transportationto appointments
• adherence to patient plan of care

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

• New Jersey Certified Homemaker Home Health Aide Certificate
• Reliable vehicle
• Ableto pass criminal history and drug screening
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Provide two references of past employers or nursing program instructors (no family or friends)
• Able to constantly travel within geographic area serviced by office from assignment to assignment.
