Job summary

CVHCare, a leader in Home Health Clinical services, is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our Home Health Care Agency in the San Ramon, CA area. Under supervision, you will provide skilled services and assist with daily living activities to support patient care.

Schedules include Part Time 24 = 18 RVEs/week or Per Diem (12 visits/week). This non-remote position offers a chance to work with an established CA home health leader and contribute to compassionate patient support.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience as a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA).
• Home Health Aide Training completed.
• California HHA Certification and CPR Certification obtained.
• Strong attention to detail for chart documentation and patient records.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to document timely.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled services and assistance with basic daily activities under supervision of a clinician.
• Check vitals and document clinical measurements and progress.
• Assist with mobility, dressing, grooming, and activities of daily living; light housekeeping.

About the position:

Our Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) work in collaboration and under the supervision of a Licensed/Certified Clinician. This role is responsible for providing patients with skilled services and assistance with basic daily activities.

As a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA), you will use your education to assist with activities which support skilled services including checking temperature, pulse and respiration rates, assisting with exercises, or repetitive routines as prescribed by the clinicians. The nurturer you are, will put your skills to work in support of other daily activities that may include assistance with getting in and out of bed, dressing, grooming, hygiene, feeding, assistance with ambulatory transfers, and light housekeeping.

Schedule: Part Time 24 = 18 RVEs p/week or Per Diem (12 visits p/week)

* Non-traditional schedules are available, i.e., Thursday-Monday

Locations:

• Area #9: This territory includes, but is not limited to, the cities of San Francisco
• Area #10: Covering cities of San Mateo, Brisbane, Burlingame, Daly City, Redwood City, Hillsborough, Millbrae, Colma, South San Francisco, Pacifica, Belmont, San Bruno, Half Moon Bay

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum one (1) year experience working as a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)
• Minimum one (1) year checking vitals and reporting/documenting on clinical charts
• Home Health Aide Training
• California Home Health Aide Certification and CPR Certification
• General knowledge and understanding of clinical verbiage
• Strong attention to detail for use in chart documentation
• Excellent time management/calendaring skills and ability to deliver documentation timely
• Strong experience using computers and computer systemsExperience using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Gmail Suite or other systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication

This is NOT a remote position

Compensation is based on full time schedule
