CVHCare, a home health leader headquartered in San Ramon, CA, is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our San Ramon agency. This role supports clinicians by delivering skilled services and helping patients with daily activities in a compassionate, patient-centered manner.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of CHHA experience, is certified in California and CPR, and is proficient with vitals checks, charting, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience as a CHHA.
• Experience checking vitals and documenting clinical charts.
• Home Health Aide Training and state certification.
• CPR certification and knowledge of clinical terminology.
• Proficient with basic computer systems and MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Provide skilled services and assist with daily activities under clinician supervision.
• Check temperature, pulse, and respiration; report findings.
• Assist with bed mobility, dressing, grooming, hygiene, meals.
• Document care activities timely in patient charts.
• Support handoffs and coordinate with care team.

About the position:

Our Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) work in collaboration and under the supervision of a Licensed/Certified Clinician. This role is responsible for providing patients with skilled services and assistance with basic daily activities.

As a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA), you will use your education to assist with activities which support skilled services including checking temperature, pulse and respiration rates, assisting with exercises, or repetitive routines as prescribed by the clinicians. The nurturer you are, will put your skills to work in support of other daily activities that may include assistance with getting in and out of bed, dressing, grooming, hygiene, feeding, assistance with ambulatory transfers, and light housekeeping.

Schedule:

Part Time 24 = 18 RVEs p/week or Per Diem (12 visits p/week)

* Non-traditional schedules are available, i.e., Thursday-Monday

Locations:

Area #9 This territory includes, but is not limited to, the cities of San Francisco

Area #10 -Covering cities of San Mateo, Brisbane, Burlingame, Daly City, Redwood City, Hillsborough, Millbrae, Colma, South San Francisco, Pacifica, Belmont, San Bruno, Half Moon Bay

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum one (1) year experience working as a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)
• Minimum one (1) year checking vitals and reporting/documenting on clinical charts
• Home Health Aide Training
• California Home Health Aide Certification and CPR Certification
• General knowledge and understanding of clinical verbiage
• Strong attention to detail for use in chart documentation
• Excellent time management/calendaring skills and ability to deliver documentation timely
• Strong experience using computers and computer systems
• Experience using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Gmail Suite or other systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication

This is NOT a remote position

Compensation is based on full time schedule
