Job summary

Award Homecare in New Jersey is actively hiring Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) for Live-In, Hourly and Overnight positions. The role offers flexible scheduling with full-time and part-time opportunities and a supportive office team.

As a CHHA you will assist clients with ADLs, provide companionship, and help maintain independence in the home. A NJ CHHA license and reliable transportation are required, with ongoing training provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe home environment.
• Monitor changes in client condition and report them promptly.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help maintain client independence and dignity at home.
