Job summary

PSTC is seeking a skilled technician to maintain and repair trucks from class 5 through class 8, including RVs, in Georgia. The role requires diagnosing engine and electrical systems, performing tests, and ensuring repairs meet OEM and company guidelines.

You will work with Freightliner systems, complete online Freightliner training, and maintain accurate work orders. A valid Georgia CDL and AC certification are required, with ASE Master or Freightliner certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL license for Georgia.
• Valid A/C certification.
• ASE Master Heavy Duty Truck Technician certification or Freightliner certifications.
• Willingness to complete Freightliner/ASE training.
• Experience with heavy-duty engine and electrical diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs truck systems using hand and power tools.
• Ensures repairs are completed per supervisor or work order instructions.
• Maintains accurate time punches and work orders.
• Test drives trucks to diagnose malfunctions and verify repairs.
• Inspects, tests, and diagnoses defective equipment with diagnostic instruments.
• Keeps work area clean and vehicle clean during repair process.
