Job summary

Peach State Truck Centers is seeking a skilled diesel technician to perform maintenance on class 5–8 trucks and recreational vehicles according to OEM and company guidelines.

You will diagnose and repair various truck systems using hand and power tools, follow work orders, keep the work area clean, and test drive vehicles. Requires CDL in Georgia (may be waived with waiver), A/C certification, and Freightliner/ASE training compliance.

Qualifications

• Diagnoses and repairs truck systems using hand and power tools.
• Completes Freightliner Training to become Systems Certified.
• Maintains required ASE/ certifications as stated or equivalent.
• Possesses a valid Georgia CDL, or waiver if medical waiver exists.
• Requires A/C certification and ability to test drive trucks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs truck systems using hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
• Ensures repairs are completed per supervisor or work order instructions.
• Keeps time punches and warranty procedures up to date.
• Maintains clean, safe work area and keeps customer vehicle clean during repairs.
• Performs road tests to verify diagnostics and repairs as needed.
