Select Physical Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Certified Hand Therapist to treat various upper extremity disorders ranging from tendon injuries, sprains/strains, post-operative fractures, etc. The Hand Therapist must be skilled in custom splinting. The therapist will work in an energetic center with primarily orthopedic caseload, treating referrals from hand and orthopedic surgeons.

By joining the Select family, you will join the largest group of hand therapists employed in a single organization. Our national hand therapy program spans 32 states with over 250 Certified Hand Therapists (CHTs) and an additional 500 therapists nationwide.

While Certified Hand Therapist certification is preferred, candidates with Level 2 or 3 hand experience will also be considered. Our New Milford center provides both physical and occupational therapy to local residents, working closely with an orthopedic practice next door. We see a wide variety of patients with sports, orthopedic, hand, and neurologic injuries.

Qualifications:

• National registration and state licensure required.
• Solid experience in application of custom splinting, pre- and post-operative orthopedic care.
• Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation.
• Experience in hand therapy and splinting required.
• CPR certification.
• Valid state driver’s license.
