Position: Certified Hand Therapist

Location: 23478 North Sundance Parkway, Suite 104 Buckeye, AZ 85326

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday

Compensation: Salaried, starting at $85,000 and up, commensurate with experience PLUS Bonus and Student Loan Repayment Program

Incentives: $15,000 Bonus and $350/month Student Loan Repayment

Join a well-established therapy clinic and play a key role in launching a new hand therapy service in a rapidly growing community. This position offers the autonomy of being the sole hand therapist at the location, supported by a strong local and national hand therapy team. Mentorship and abundant continuing education opportunities are available to ensure ongoing professional growth. While CHT certification is preferred, we enthusiastically welcome applicants preparing for the exam or those with extensive hand therapy experience. Banner Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist, to treat various upper extremity disorders ranging from tendon injuries, sprains, strains, post-operative fractures, and more. We are seeking a skilled hand therapist experienced in custom splinting. The Certified Hand Therapist will collaborate with our regional hand therapy coordinator to ensure you have the necessary resources for success.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high-quality hand therapy services to patients and customers
• Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs
• Maintain positive interaction with facilities and clients; strengthen client relations with facilities and their staff
• Stay current with occupational therapy/physical therapy research and apply evidence-based practice
• Graduate from an accredited school for occupational or physical therapy
• Hold specialty certification or licensure in hand therapy
• National registration and state licensure or registration required
• Demonstrated marketing experience
• Experience in the application of custom splinting for pre- and post-operative orthopedic care
• CPR certification
