Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington seeks an Equipment Operator at Seattle Goodwill Outlet to safely operate PIT equipment and support donation flows. You will load and transfer donated goods and help maintain equipment and safety standards.

The role requires forklift certification, at least one year of warehouse or equipment operation experience, and a commitment to reliability and teamwork in a fast-paced, outdoor warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year prior equipment operation experience.
• Minimum 1 year working in warehouse environment.
• OSHA-regulated site experience.
• Good time management and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of the equipment in accordance with Goodwill policy to ensure federal and state compliance.
• Safely operate equipment that may include: forklift, pallet jack, front-end loader and other equipment using proper safety standards.
• Monitor waste and the condition of equipment to minimize downtime.
• Report any necessary repairs to supervisor and follow safety policies.
• Build and maintain internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
