Job summary

Randstad is urgently seeking sit-down forklift operators for immediate placement in high-capacity distribution centers in Sardis, MS. If you hold current forklift certification, we offer premium pay rates and flexible work options.

You will operate a sit-down counterbalance forklift, perform pre-shift inspections, support inventory control, and assist with loading/unloading and putaway. Randstad provides a comprehensive benefits package and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a Sit Down Counterbalance Forklift to move, stack, and retrieve high-volume, palletized materials throughout the warehouse and loading docks.
• Execute critical inventory placement tasks, including putaway, replenishment, and retrieving full pallet loads from high racks (up to client-specific height).
• Load and unload trailers and containers meticulously, ensuring loads are properly balanced and secure according to safety and transport regulations.
• Conduct mandatory pre-shift OSHA-compliant forklift inspections (daily checklist) and report any maintenance needs immediately.
• Work collaboratively with inventory control and order selection teams to ensure accurate material flow and location management.
