Job summary

Old World Industries in Prattville, AL is seeking a Forklift Operator to move materials and products within the plant. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport goods safely, while keeping the warehouse organized and items in designated locations.

Responsibilities include order picking, tracking inventory movements, assisting with shipping and receiving, inspecting equipment, and upholding a safety-first culture with good housekeeping practices.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma/GED preferred.
• Certified forklift operator license.
• Warehouse or forklift experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift 50+lbs.
• Comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities

• Unload, stack, wrap, move, and stage materials using forklift.
• Track inventory movements and assist other drivers as needed.
• Assist with all shipping and receiving of product.
• Identify damages and report quality deficiencies.
• Inspect forklift and keep updated service records.
• Maintain a safe warehouse and drive a safety-first culture.
• Ensure good housekeeping and cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Follow all warehouse policies and standard operating procedures.
