Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is seeking a Warehouse Operator for a 1st shift in Northlake, IL. The role involves moving products with material handling equipment, loading/unloading trucks, and managing inventory in a fast-paced environment. Forklift certification and English proficiency are required.

Typical duties include picking, packing, scanning, and ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with TSA/OSHA. Weekend shifts may be required; overtime may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be Forklift Certified.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience using RF scan guns and pallet-handling equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull routes using manifest, stage freight, and assist drivers to load/unload trucks.
• Perform picking, packing, scanning, and possible kitting as applicable.
• Identify overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D) and document.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment including forklift and pallet jacks.
• Read and follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment; comply with TSA/OSHA guidelines.
