Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. is seeking a Material Handler for a 12-month contract in San Jose, CA. 40 hours per week, first shift, with a strong emphasis on safe operation of MHE and accurate loading/unloading in a fast-paced distribution center.

Responsibilities include picking, packing, RF processing, ERP/MHE usage, and ensuring GDP-compliant shipment packaging. Forklift certification required and MSDS-compliant safety adherence is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or 3 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience with MHE. Including but not limited to Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Counter Balance (slip and clamp), and Dock Stocker.
• Forklift Certification required.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment.
• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• May be required to operate MHE and use Voice/RF scanner.
• Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment.
• Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.
• General distribution knowledge.
• The position will almost always have exposure to work near moving mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Material Handler III is responsible for the safe, accurate loading and unloading of product within the distribution centre.
• Uses ERP systems requiring location and storage of items, proper packaging, and methods of movement of materials.
• May prepare goods for final shipment.
• May prepare, coordinate, and execute documentation for final shipment for domestic and international.
• Will handle material either inbound or outbound based on business needs.

• Process customer orders including but not limited to: scanning bar codes, picking and labelling boxes.
• Pick, pack and process orders.
• Processing orders through RF technology.
• Maintains an acceptable work area as outlined in SOP and work instructions.
• Responsible for following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP.
• Complete all necessary RF device training to obtain the necessary profiles
• Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging.
