Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. in Florence, SC seeks a Warehouse Associate to pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time. You will keep staging areas clean and safe while delivering excellent service and connecting customers with the right associates.

You will operate certified powered equipment, support inventory accuracy, and complete administrative tasks with a focus on safety and teamwork. The role may include additional duties to support store operations.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Powered Equipment Certification: Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (Required; must be obtained if not already certified).
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• 6 months of Retail experience is preferred.
• 6 months of experience in customer service or product fulfillment at a home improvement or hardware retailer in related department.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time, keeping staging areas clean and safe.
• Deliver excellent service by selecting quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and connecting customers with the right associates.
• Operate and maintain certification for powered equipment and follow all safety requirements.
• Support inventory accuracy by using the Orders App and maintaining SIMS compliance, collaborating with leadership to resolve short picks.
• Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks such as audits and locker management, while reporting safety or theft concerns promptly.
• Maintain a customer-first mindset with strong communication and teamwork; additional duties may be assigned to support business needs.
