Job summary

TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY seeks a Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) or CSFA to assist the surgeon during procedures, maintain a sterile field, and contribute to patient care in the operating room. This full-time days position requires BCLS within 30 days and applicable surgical certifications.

Experience is not required, and the hospital offers comprehensive benefits and a robust rewards package as part of the TriStar system.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• SA Surgical Assistant certification.
• CSA Certified Surgical Assistant, or CSFA Certified Surgical First Assistant.

He or she initiates appropriate intra-operative behaviors unique to first assisting. He or she applies knowledge of surgical anatomy, physiology, and operative techniques relative to operative procedures. Maintains a sterile field.
