Qualifications

• Must have completed a First Assist program.
• CSFA certification (NBSTSA) required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct assistance to the surgeon(s) during surgical procedures.
• Positions patient for optimal exposure, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Assists with visualization, hemostasis, and tissue handling during operations.
• Helps with wound closure and drainage system management.
• Maintains sterile technique and supports postoperative care.
