Babilou Family US is seeking a Certified Teacher to lead developmentally appropriate curriculum and sustainable education across Little Sprouts classrooms. You will guide the teaching team, ensure a safe, nurturing environment, and partner with families to support children's lifelong learning.

This role emphasizes eco-friendly practices, compliance with state licensing, and ongoing professional growth. The position operates year-round, Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to sustainable education practices and environmental stewardship.
• Active teaching certification as required by state licensing.
• Experience teaching young children in a childcare or educational setting.
• Knowledge of child development, curriculum design, and classroom safety standards.
• Ability to lead classroom operations and mentor support staff.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement daily lesson plans aligned with developmentally appropriate practice and sustainable education principles.
• Lead classroom organization and routines promoting environmental responsibility.
• Model best practices for the teaching team and ensure high-quality instructional delivery.
• Supervise children during learning activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor exploration.
• Support each child’s developmental needs using observation to guide instruction.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with families through professional communication.
• Lead conferences, family events, and community learning opportunities.
• Maintain required certifications and participate in ongoing sustainability-focused training.
• Coach and support Assistant Teachers in instructional practices and environmentally responsible classroom routines.
