Petco Animal Supplies Stores, Inc. is seeking a Pet Coach: Certified Dog Trainer to join our Pet Care Centers. You will deliver world-class dog training, support pet parents, and promote holistic health through classes and one-on-one coaching.

Starting at $15.00 per hour, training stages lead to certification with a structured program, cross-functional collaboration with grooming and veterinary teams, and opportunities to advance within a nationwide pet-health network.

Qualifications

• Passion for animal care and welfare.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes safely.
• Strong organizational skills and prioritization.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Familiarity with computer systems for records and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide World Class Dog Training Services: complete DTIP program, run sessions, recommend classes and supplies, track progress, maintain confidentiality, collaborate with grooming and veterinary teams.
• Provide 360-Degree Solutions for all Petco Guests: engage guests, drive sales, ensure animal health and safety, stock and display merchandise, process transactions, follow policies, promote teamwork.
• Basic duties and alignment with store operations, safety protocols, and guest experience.
