Job summary

Petco is seeking a Certified Dog Trainer to enhance the bond between pet parents and their dogs. You will deliver one-on-one sessions and group classes, using positive reinforcement and modern techniques within our Pet Care Center environment.

You will also help guests choose training and products, record progress, and coordinate with grooming and veterinary teams to provide comprehensive wellness for pets. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with pet parents and demonstrate techniques.
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds safely.
• Strong organizational skills to manage training schedules and records.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one dog training sessions and group classes.
