Job summary

Lake Drive Care & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Certified Dietary Supervisor to oversee menu planning, nutrition standards, and food service operations for residents. You will supervise kitchen staff, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with dietary regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; CDM within 2 years preferred.
• Active CDM certification is a plus.
• Ability to read, write and speak English for effective communication.
• Strong teamwork and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine quality and quantity of food required; plan menus for therapeutic diets and control costs.
• Supervise food production and service programs and departmental staff.
• Ensure nutrition-focused food preparation and efficient use of time; maintain standardized recipes.
• Plan menus, purchase food, and assign duties for special functions; adapt cycles with the Dietician.
• Check food for flavor, temperature, and appearance regularly; monitor residents' nutritional status with the Dietician.
• Prepare the departmental budget and maintain inventory of kitchen tools and supplies.
• Inspect operations frequently to ensure regulatory compliance of the residential food program.
