Job summary

Millennial Healthcare in Ocala, FL, is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead the Nutritional Services/Food Services department. The role involves planning, organizing, developing, and overseeing daily operations to ensure quality nutritional services and a clean, sanitary environment.

The CDM must hold a CDM certification, have completed an accredited dietetic training course, and possess at least three years of supervisory experience in a medical facility.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Graduate from an accredited course in dietetic training approved by the American Dietetic Association.
• CDM Certification required.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and oversee the Nutritional Services/Food Services Department operations.
• Ensure daily quality nutritional services and maintain a clean, safe, sanitary environment.
• Lead and manage staff with a focus on cost control and diet therapy.
• Comply with current federal, state, and local standards and regulations.

Primary Purpose of the CDM (Certified Dietary Manager):

The primary purpose of your job position is to plan, organize, develop, and oversee the operations of the Nutritional Services/Food Services Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our Facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator or the Food Services Director, to assure that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis and that the Nutritional Services/Food Services Department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner
