Job summary

Bayview Healthcare Ltd. in Ocala, FL seeks a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead the Nutritional Services/Food Services Department, ensuring meals are prepared and served in a compliant, sanitary manner while coordinating with administration.

The CDM will oversee daily operations, staff supervision, cost control, and adherence to federal/state/local guidelines to deliver high-quality resident nutrition and compassionate care in a skilled nursing facility in Ocala.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED.
• Must graduate from an accredited course in dietetic training approved by the American Dietetic Association.
• CDM Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and oversee the Nutritional Services/Food Services Department operations.
• Ensure compliance with current federal, state and local standards and regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary department environment.
• Support leadership and administration as directed by the Administrator or Food Services Director.

Primary Purpose of the CDM (Certified Dietary Manager):

The primary purpose of your job position is to plan, organize, develop, and oversee the operations of the Nutritional Services/Food Services Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our Facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator or the Food Services Director, to assure that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis and that the Nutritional Services/Food Services Department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner

Qualifications of the CDM (Certified Dietary Manager):

Experience of the CDM (Certified Dietary Manager):

• Must have, as a minimum three (3) years' experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care Facility, or other related medical Facility.
