Job summary

Ahava Healthcare in Kingsport, Tennessee seeks an experienced Certified Dietary Manager to lead our dietary department in a skilled nursing facility. You will oversee food service operations, ensure quality meal preparation, and maintain regulatory compliance to support resident care plans.

You will manage staff scheduling, inventory, and budgets, participate in QAPI meetings, and contribute to staff development in a collaborative, supportive environment with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Dietary Manager certification is required.
• Experience leading a dietary team is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in Food Service Management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budget and purchasing of food & supplies, services, and storage.
• Oversee safe and timely meal prep, including meals and supplements per resident care plans.
• Develop staff work schedules, oversee inventory and inspect meals for standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and in QAPI activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents' information.

A skilled nursing facility in Kingsport, Tennessee, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Certified Dietary Manager to lead our dietary department. This position is responsible for overseeing food service operations, ensuring quality meal preparation, maintaining regulatory compliance, and leading a team committed to providing excellent service to our residents.

What You'll Do:
