Job summary

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care in Crystal Pines Rehabilitation and Health Care Center is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to lead the dietary team and ensure nutritionally appropriate meals for residents. You will plan, direct, and supervise food service operations in accordance with regulations and company standards.

The ideal candidate has a CDM/CFPP/DTR certification (preferred), prior LTC supervisory experience, and strong communication and professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• CDM/CFPP/DTR certification is preferred.
• Prior dietary supervisory experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC is required.
• Certification in food safety as required by state regulations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, control, and supervise functions and personnel within the dietary department.
• Provide nutritionally appropriate meals to residents to maintain and enhance health.
• Ensure quality food service and nutrition care in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Dietary Manager, you will be responsible for planning, directing, controlling, and supervising functions and personnel within the dietary department. You will also safely and efficiently provide nutritionally appropriate food to residents for the purpose of maintaining and enhancing their overall health. The Dietary Manager ensures the provision of quality food service and nutrition care in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• High school diploma, or equivalent, required
• Trained as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP), or a Dietetic Technician, registered (DTR) highly preferred
• Prior dietary supervisory experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
• Certification in food safety, as required by state regulations
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
