Job Description: Diesel Mechanic

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.

Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.

Repair and replace faulty components, such as fuel systems, brakes, and electrical systems.

Use automotive diagnostics equipment to identify problems and make necessary repairs.

Fabricate or modify parts as needed to complete repairs.

Test repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance.

Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance.
• Proficiency in using automotive diagnostics equipment.
• Familiarity with industrial equipment, such as cranes and diggers.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• HVAC certification is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
