Advocate Health is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonography professional to join the Ultrasound department in North Carolina. You will verify orders, assist radiologists, and ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient-centered care.

Prerequisites include completion of a diagnostic ultrasound program, ARDMS/ARRT S certification, and BLS. The role involves physical activity and adhering to department standards in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Graduate of a comprehensive medical diagnostic ultrasound program required in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or General Ultrasound.
• Current certification by ARDMS or ARRT (S) and registry in Abdomen or OB/GYN.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient.
• Assists Radiologist in performing invasive procedures.
• Evaluates technical quality of exam and develops techniques for efficiency.
• Maintains patient-centered care and professionalism.
• Reports malfunctioning equipment to appropriate personnel.
• Operates the Radiology computer system and enters exams and supplies.
• Keeps work area neat, stocked and compliant with rules.
