Job summary

Advocate Health in Matthews, NC is seeking a full-time Ultrasound Technologist to support diagnostic imaging in the Atrium Health Union West ultrasound department. You will verify orders, assist Radiologists, and ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient-centered care.

The role requires ARDMS/ABR(S) licensure, BLS, and a graduate ultrasound program. Schedule is Monday-Wednesday 0600-1830, with 36 hours per week and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a comprehensive medical diagnostic ultrasound program.
• Licensure: ARDMS or ABR(S); Abdomen (AB) or OB/GYN (OB/GYN) registries required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders for assigned patients.
• Assists Radiologist in invasive procedures.
• Evaluates exam quality and optimizes techniques for efficiency.
• Maintains patient-centered care in daily tasks.
• Reports equipment malfunctions to supervisors/engineering.
• Operates radiology information systems for exams and supplies.
