The role demands precise use of capacity charts and adherence to manufacturer and industry standards.

You will perform rigging and daily equipment inspections, read boom angle and drum rotation indicators, and help ensure compliance with contract plans and specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant field experience.
• Strong working knowledge and abilities for the position.
• Ability to understand and transmit written and verbal instructions.
• Proficient in the safe and efficient use of tools and measurement devices.

Responsibilities

• Operate crane to lift and move materials and other objects.
• Plan all lifts and take complete charge of safety pertaining to setup and operation.
• Perform rigging inspection and daily equipment inspection.
• Respond to hand and verbal commands from rigger or helpers.
• Observe the travel of all loads and take appropriate action to avoid injury or property damage.
• Read boom angle and drum rotation indicators.
• Estimate sizes, distances, and quantities for work activity.
• Inspect subordinates' work for compliance with plans and correct deficiencies.
