Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with field experience.
• Strong working knowledge and abilities for the position.
• Ability to read, understand and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate crane to lift and move materials and objects.
• Plan lifts and ensure safety for setup, operation and capacity use.
• Perform rigging and daily equipment inspections.
• Respond to hand and verbal commands from rigger or helpers.
• Monitor load travel to prevent injury or damage.
• Read boom angle and drum rotation indicators.
• Estimate sizes, distances, and quantities for tasks.
• Inspect subordinate's work for contract and specs compliance.
