Job summary

Granite Construction Incorporated is seeking an experienced crane operator for on-site work on construction projects. You will operate hydraulic, friction and crawler cranes, perform safety inspections, and ensure all lifts comply with load charts and rigging standards.

The role requires 1–3 years of crane experience, NCCCO certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work day, swing, or night shifts in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience.
• 1–3 years crane operating experience on heavy civil projects preferred.
• Current NCCCO Crane Operator Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydraulic, friction and crawler cranes safely on site.
• Follow load charts, rigging and signal procedures for lifts.
• Perform daily inspections and complete required documentation.
• Ensure lifts stay within load limits and operate within safety rules.
• Support crew with general duties and operate other heavy equipment as needed.
