Grady Health System is seeking an experienced Coder III to review physician services, interpret documentation, and assign accurate CPT/ICD-10 codes across inpatient, outpatient, and surgical cases.

The role requires strong knowledge of coding conventions, the ability to resolve denials, and high accuracy under productivity guidelines. Remote work from Georgia is supported for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of coding experience required.
• Experience in Surgical/Ancillary Diagnostic discipline preferred.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding conventions.

Responsibilities

• Review physician services and interpret documentation.
• Code complex surgical and ancillary records within guidelines.
• Extract pertinent information from clinical notes and reports to assign codes.
• Manage denials and claim edits for various service settings.
