Jefferson City Medical Group seeks a skilled Medical Billing/Coding specialist to ensure accurate coding for providers and ancillary services across multiple clinics. The role emphasizes timely communication, quality customer service, and adherence to clinic philosophy and mission.

Applicants should have at least two years in a physician coding environment, with CPC, CCA, or CEMC credentials (or pursuing them).

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in a Physician Coding environment.
• CPC, CCA, or CEMC certification required.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Must be computer literate and able to learn new systems.
• Excellent communication within organization and with the public.

Education

Experience

Certification/License

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC)

• Certified Evaluation and Management Coder (CEMC) for E&M Specialties and Family Medicine

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Competency in medical terminology as demonstrated by either formal training or experience
• Must be able to assess self-learning needs and participate in educational programs as appropriate
• Computer literate
