Ideal candidates hold CPC, CCA and CEMC credentials, with a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred) and at least two years in physician coding, plus a commitment to ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum two years in a Physician Coding environment.
• Certification/License: CPC, CCA, CEMC.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education:High school diploma or GED

• Certified Evaluation and Management Coder (CEMC) for E&M Specialties and Family Medicine

• Must be able to assess self-learning needs and participate in educational programs as appropriate
• Computer literate
