Job summary

Clinical Associates in the Baltimore area seeks an experienced Medical Assistant to support our Department of Specialty Medicine. Travel to all listed locations is required, including Reisterstown, Pikesville/Woodholme, Towson, and assignments at Oakcrest and Edenwald.

You will work front and back office, perform EKGs, record history and vitals, manage authorizations and test results, schedule appointments, and assist during visits in a multi-specialty cardiology/primary care setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Current registration/certification with an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• EMR Experience (Nextgen is a plus)!
• Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel/float between locations.
• If not registered or certified but completed an accredited Medical Assistant program, we will help you get registered within 90 days of hire.

At Clinical Associates, we make being healthy easier. We connect our patients to a seamless system of integrated medical care that includes in-house specialists in areas of practice, from cardiology to podiatry. We have been serving the northern Baltimore County suburban area for over 50 years.

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our Department of Specialty Medicine! You must be willing and able to travel to all of our locations as listed below:

• Reisterstown - 120 Westminster Pike
• Pikesville / Woodholme – 1838 Greene Tree Road
• Towson – 515 Fairmount Avenue
• **Includes travel to Oakcrest Senior Living Community
• ** Includes travel to Edenwald Senior Living Center

**This position requires the ability to work both front and back office.

**Experience in Cardiology and/or Internal Medicine / Primary Care is a plus!

Schedule Varies: Monday - Friday Earliest 7:15 am / latest 5:00 pm

The Medical Assistant will work closely with one of our healthcare providers in a multi-specialty setting. Full Time candidates with proven EHR experience will have hands‑on responsibilities with patients in a healthcare setting that offers enrichment and an opportunity for growth.

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing a positive, supportive, nurturing, yet professional experience whether triaging calls, rooming patients and assisting during an office visit, or providing follow-up to patients and/or families.

The Medical Assistant will perform a variety of services up to and including:

• Our ideal candidate will come to us registered Nationally as a Medical Assistant and experienced in Cardiology, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Podiatry,( we will consider Internal Medicine or Primary Care).

• If you are not currently registered or certified but have completed an accredited Medical Assistant training program -please still apply! We will work with you to get registered if you are eligible to become registered within 90 days of hire.
