Job summary

Clinical Associates is seeking a nationally Certified Medical Assistant for our After-Hours Care Center in Pikesville. The role involves front desk check-in, triage, and assisting with medical exams in an Internal Medicine/Primary or Urgent Care setting. Fridays 4:30pm–9:00pm and Saturdays 8:30am–1:00pm.

Responsibilities include patient registration, vitals, injections, EKGs, and coordination with providers. High school diploma and MA certification required; NextGen EMR experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program is required
• Experience in Internal Medicine or Primary Care (REQUIRED)
• Front desk experience / Patient Service Representative Duties (REQUIRED)
• Excellent patient care and customer service skills
• EMR Skills (Nextgen experience is a plus)

• Assist with pre-op exams and office visits related to episodic and acute care
• Interview patients, log vitals and provide information/directions
• Administer injections/immunizations
• Perform EKGs, urine dipstick, finger sticks, diagnostic tests
• Assist with end-of-shift closing operations, handing off to on-call providers
• Collaborate with providers and management as part of the team

MEDICAL ASSISTANT - Part Time / Friday Evenings and Saturday Morning

At Clinical Associates, we make being healthy easier. We connect our patients to a seamless system of integrated medical care, which includes in-house specialists in areas of practice, from cardiology to podiatry. Each of our offices has laboratory centers for tests and blood work on site. We have been serving the northern Baltimore County suburban region for more than 50 years.

We are seeking a nationally Certified Medical Assistant to join our After-Hours Care Center team in Pikesville!

Under the supervision of the health care provider and manager, you will perform front desk check-in and registration duties, triage calls, and assist with medical exams and procedures. Our ideal candidate must be proficient with both front desk operations and have experience in Internal Medicine / Primary or Urgent Care.

The After-Hours Care Center is located at our Woodholme / Pikesville facility and is for established patients of Clinical Associates. Appointments are required as this is not considered a walk-in clinic.

Location: 1838 Greene Tree Road (Woodholme Medical Building)

Shift Hours: Fridays 4:30pm - 9:00pm and Saturdays 8:30am - 1:00pm

DUTIES

• Perform front desk registration, check in and check out duties via use of Phreesia.
• Assist with pre -op exams and office visits related to episodic and acute care.
• Interview patients, log vitals and provide information and/or directions to patients.
• Administer injections/immunizations.
• Perform EKGs, urine dipstick, finger sticks, diagnostic and screening tests.
• Assist with end of shift closing operations including turning phone system over to the on-call providers.
• Be a part of a team and work closely with providers and management.
