Clinical Associates, P.A. is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to join our After-Hours Care Center in Pikesville. The role requires front desk duties, clinical assistance, and strong patient service in Internal Medicine/Primary Care settings.

The position supports Fridays evenings and Saturdays mornings, with on-site responsibilities at 1838 Greene Tree Road. Certification and active registration are required, along with EMR proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant from a nationally accredited program is required.
• Experience in Internal Medicine or Primary Care is required.
• Front desk experience / Patient Service Representative duties required.
• Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
• EMR skills; NextGen experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform front desk registration, check in and check out duties via use of Phreesia.
• Assist with pre -op exams and office visits related to episodic and acute care.
• Interview patients, log vitals and provide information and/or directions to patients.
• Administer injections/immunizations.
• Perform EKGs, urine dipstick, finger sticks, diagnostic and screening tests.
• Assist with end of shift closing operations including turning phone system over to the on-call providers.
• Be a part of a team and work closely with providers and management.

MEDICAL ASSISTANT – Part Time / Friday Evenings and Saturday Morning

At Clinical Associates, we make being healthy easier. We connect our patients to a seamless system of integrated medical care, which includes in-house specialists in areas of practice, from cardiology to podiatry. Each of our offices has laboratory centers for tests and blood work on site. We have been serving the northern Baltimore County suburban region for more than 50 years.

We are seeking a nationally Certified Medical Assistant to join our After-Hours Care Center team in Pikesville!

Under the supervision of the health care provider and manager, you will perform front desk check-in and registration duties, triage calls, and assist with medical exams and procedures. Our ideal candidate must be proficient with both front desk operations and have experience in Internal Medicine / Primary or Urgent Care.

The After-Hours Care Center is located at our Woodholme / Pikesville facility and is for established patients of Clinical Associates. Appointments are required as this is not considered a walk-in clinic.

Location: 1838 Greene Tree Road (Woodholme Medical Building)

Shift Hours: Fridays 4:30pm – 9:00pm ++and++ Saturdays 8:30am – 1:00pm
