Overview:

Sentara MJH Ortho Pantops is now hiring a Full-Time Medical Assistant in Charlottesville, VA!

Sign-On Bonus: All qualified candidates can receive a $3,000-$5,000 sign-on bonus!

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p. No nights, holidays, or weekends!

As a Medical Assistant with Sentara, you will perform patient care tasks and procedures based on your training, education, and competency, under the supervision of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, RNs, or LPNs. You may also perform administrative duties as appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Certification: Must be obtained within nine months of employment in one of the following programs:

• CCMA - Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
• CMA - Certified Medical Assistant
• RMA - Registered Medical Assistant
• EMT - Emergency Medical Technician
