Job summary

Water Street Oyster Bar in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a team-oriented staff member to uphold our standards for cleanliness, product quality and guest satisfaction. You will assist in training new personnel, ensure certifications stay current (TABC and food handler where required), follow all policies, and help operate Bar/Cashier/Bus/Main areas.

The role requires good communication, reliability and the ability to work a shift across morning and evening schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, understand, read and write in English.
• Friendly and upbeat personality with good personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Bring restaurant issues to FOH Manager to take to weekly meetings.
• Meet or exceed Water Street Way standards for cleanliness, product quality and guest satisfaction.
• Implement all systems and forms for Bar/Cahier/Bus/Main operations.
• Assist in the training of all new personnel (Certified Trainer).
• Adhere to all the policy & procedures of Water Street.
• Ensure bartenders obtain a valid TABC certification and a Nueces County Food Handler’s Permit at all times; cashiers must obtain a Nueces County Food Handler’s Permit at all times.
