Responsibilities

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support, assistance with personal hygiene, and household tasks to help individuals remain in their homes.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Report observations of the client's condition and notify the Agency Director of incidents or accidents immediately.
• Drive safely, comply with traffic laws, and wear a seat belt during travel.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, dental and mouth care, nail care, skin care, and transfers.
• Assist with household tasks essential to the client's personal care.

Education and Experience

Experience Desired

• Six months of home care experience preferred.
• Current CNA, NA, or PCA certification in VA required.
