At Sunrise, our Care Manager is responsible for providing the highest quality of care and services to a consistent group of residents and their families in our assisted living and reminiscence neighborhoods.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities:

• Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families by assisting with activities of daily living, attending to individual care needs, and understanding their preferences and personalities.
• Notify management of any changes in residents' conditions and recommend adjustments in care and services.
• Assist residents in life skills and other enriching activities as indicated in their profiles.
• Incorporate multi-sensory experiences into residents’ daily routines.
• Participate in developing and updating Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
• Monitor designated residents during shifts, ensuring their well-being and whereabouts.
• Collaborate with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA and promote safety and risk management policies.
• Respond to dining needs of residents and guests, maintaining Sunrise hospitality standards.
• Encourage and assist residents with life skills and enriching activities as per their ISP and profiles.
• Uphold our Principles of Service to serve residents and guests effectively.

Qualifications:

• Passion for serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and teamwork skills.
• High School diploma/GED; certifications as required by state regulations.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous experience with seniors preferred.
• Ability to make decisions in residents’ best interests.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
