External Job Description

• Provides personal caregiving services according to an established care plan
• Ensures personal needs and comfort of clients in their homes
• Assists with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
• Prepares meals and manages special diets
• Performs general housekeeping activities
• Administers medications as trained and delegated by a Nurse, with appropriate certification
• Provides passive range of motion exercises with current credentials
• Assists with taking vital signs for informational purposes
• Provides transportation to activities
• Offers compassionate companionship
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• HS/GED preferred
• Caregiver License (HCA/CNA) required, renewed annually
• Ability to meet background requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
