Job summary

Visiting Angels in Charlottesville is seeking a Certified Caregiver to provide compassionate in-home care to clients in Charlottesville and surrounding areas. Ideal candidates hold a CNA or PCA license, have caregiving experience, and demonstrate excellent communication and empathy.

Job description

As a Certified Caregiver at Visiting Angels, you will be responsible for providing compassionate in-home care to clients in the Charlottesville and surrounding areas. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality of care and support. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll have the flexibility to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming.
2. Provide joyful companionship and emotional support to clients.
3. Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
4. Remind clients to take medication as needed.
5. Collaborate with family members and other healthcare professionals to meet client needs and goals.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) license or certification.
2. Experience in providing personal care or caregiving services.
3. Strong communication skills and the ability to empathize with clients.
4. Reliable and trustworthy with a strong sense of responsibility.
5. Must be able to assist clients as necessary.

Bonus If You:

1. Are fluent in a second language.
2. Have experience working with elderly or disabled individuals.
3. Possess CPR and First Aid certification.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with availability needed from Monday through Sunday.

This position is available in Charlottesville Virginia and surrounding areas.
