Job summary

Visiting Angels Charlottesville is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home support across Charlottesville, VA. You will help clients maintain independence and comfort with attentive, personalized care.

You’ll work full-time, part-time, or on-call weekend shifts, with training and a supportive team to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those you serve.

Qualifications

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients.
• Collaborate with providers and nursing staff and family members to ensure care plans are followed and updated as needed.

Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at Visiting Angels Charlottesville, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to our clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with a dedicated team to ensure the well‑being and comfort of those in our care. Whether you work full-time, part-time, or on-call weekend shifts, you’ll have the flexibility to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
2. Provide companionship and engage clients in social and recreational activities.
3. Provide medication reminders ONLY.
4. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients.
5. Collaborate with providers and nursing staff and family members to ensure care plans are followed and updated as needed.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position offers Full-Time, Part-Time daily and weekend shifts and On-Call shifts Saturday and Sunday.
