Job summary

Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate caregiver professionals to join our Charlottesville area team. You will provide personal care, companionship, and light housekeeping to seniors in their homes, helping them stay safe and independent.

We offer part-time and full-time positions with flexible scheduling and competitive pay. Training and continuing education are available, with benefits including differential pay for overnight and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• PCA and/or Nurse Aide (NA) or CNA certification.
• Caregiver experience.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
• Auto insurance required.
• Compassionate, understanding and patient.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: bathing, dressing and grooming, stand-by assist, transfers.
• Medication reminders.
• Light housekeeping.
• Meal prep and planning.
• Joyful companionship.
• Transportation and errands.
