Job summary

AdventHealth in DeLand, Florida, seeks a qualified diagnostic ultrasound professional to perform echocardiography and vascular studies. The role requires proficiency with ultrasound equipment, accurate measurements, and clear communication of results to physicians.

You will also participate in scheduling, scheduling verification, coding, and maintaining a safe, organized department. The position requires RDCS/RVT/RCS/RVS eligibility, BLS, and an Associate's degree in cardiovascular sonography or

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform a full range of diagnostic echocardiogram and/or vascular ultrasound procedures.
• Must operate all ultrasound systems and use measurement packages to assess anatomy, function and status.
• Must recognize significant anatomical structures, artifacts, pathology and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex imaging studies.
• Obtain high-quality scans appropriate to patient body habitus.
• Enter testing conditions, results, and demographics into records.
• Communicate abnormal findings to reading physicians.
• Set up imaging equipment and maintain clean, safe department.
• Maintain supply inventory and assist with scheduling and coding.
